One Room Challenge Fall/Winter 2021 Week 7

One more week for the big reveal of the One Room Challenge! I can’t believe how fast these past 7 weeks have gone by! Let’s see where we are at.

A dreamy hallway

The wallpaper for the hallway has been installed and we are loving its luxurious texture. I feel like this moody color from Ven Yip’s wallpaper collection from Calico Corners is the perfect prelude for the main ORC bedroom. Although this is a small area, the Rowland flush mount from Alora Lighting really pulls your attention as you walk through this passageway.

This week lighting installation was finally finished and we have sconces! For this space I chose the Pilsen collection (sconces and chandelier) from Troy Lighting part of Hudson Valley Lighting Group. The mix of metals, modern bronze and aged brass, makes these pieces unique. Also their industrial vibe adds a level of unexpected detail to the room.
